GEKKO Junior GEKKO Plus GEKKO Kinematics

Here can you get a small glimpse of the movement and walking systems of our GEKKO robots.

The GEKKO either moves forward or turns around. This system ensures that the GEKKO never loosens its grip on the surface.

GEKKO at work

Here can you see the GEKKO Junior moving forward and cleaning photovoltaic panels. The robot advances and simultaneously frees the solar panel of any pollution with its surface friendly brush.

Forward

The double row of the suction cups in the middle is extended and holds on the wall with a vacuum. When the robot moves forward it puts new feet down in front of itself, while it loosens them on the back. The lifted feet move on a guide rail around the GEKKO to be put down in front again.

Turning

The GEKKO turns with his outer feet on the surface and the central double row in the air. Then the robot turns around on the spot.

The GEKKO is not limited in how much he can turn around and spinning even more than 360° is an easy task for the GEKKO.

The GEKKO moving around on solar panels, with the brush attached, can you see here.

Additional Security

During his climbing sessions is the GEKKO robot secured with an automatic safety system. This additional system is only needed with vertical facades.

The sticking friction of the GEKKO is sufficient to safely move on solar panels without any additional safety installations.
